New Molecular Modeling Software Based on Classical Quantum Mechanics

For several years, I have tracked the progress of Dr. Randell Mills in his creation and refinement of a fully classical theory of quantum mechanics. His company recently released molecular modeling software based on his mathematics and will make it freely available for online trials. I do not work for Dr. Mills but I find his ideas fascinating and worth a look. You can learn more at

I hope any readers here involved in molecular modeling can employ the new Millsian software to their advantage.

For several years, I have tracked the progress of Dr. Randell Mills in his creation and refinement of a fully classical theory of quantum mechanics.

Classical theory of quantum mechanics? Does this stuff have any validity?

Classical theory of quantum mechanics? Does this stuff have any validity?

You will have to exercise your own judgment on that one. I have run a discussion list for several years with supporters and detractors engaged in long and heated debates over that very question. The software itself, based on Mills’ math, shows signs of a real breakthrough, but I am neither a chemist nor a programmer nor even an advanced mathematician.

Your skepticism has good company. Respected scientists ranging from Voodoo Science author Robert Park to government science advisor Peter Zimmerman have harshly criticized Mills on a number of grounds. Zimmerman regularly participates in the hydrino discussion list which you can join at

A recent book by supporter Thomas Stolper called Genius Inventor outlines in rich detail the history of Mills and his theory in the context of other notable scientists who also met great resistance to their new ideas. You can order it on Amazon.

Fellow Objectivist Brett Holverstott went to work for Mills a couple of years ago as a programmer to generate math models based on Mills’ theory after reading my article on Mills in late 1999 on a now defunct site called “The Daily Objectivist.”
