  1. Hi klara, I agree with your post regarding cultural relativism. Overall yes, culture does play a big part in different peoples different morals. This also should open ways to allow others to accept the beauty of different cultures and be more accepting. Different culture, different way of doing things doesn’t mean its wrong. It’s just different. However one thing I would say is there are certain things, certain morals that regardless of what culture you belong to, are simply right or wrong. One thing to keep in mind is common ground we share for morality. To explain, theft, murder, rape, kidnap, etc, are all actions morally and ethically wrong. Despite what culture you belong to, these actions can never be condoned right. The relativism is shaped throughout years in our society. The ideas of individuals do not shape society, but its the society that shapes individuals and thus they form their morality and views.
