  1. What about teenagers who voluntarily place their nude images/videos on the internet who are not of the age of 18? If, say, they are sharing it between each other on a medium that is not secure and it gets spread around, as inevitably it does? I had friends in high school who engaged in this activity and it got spread around the net.
  2. One important thing to keep in mind when discussing the near future (i.e. the next 20 years) is that we are on an exponential curve in technological development. In fact we are at a very special time in that curve, called the "knee of the curve" where each successive advance in technology allows us to create the next even more quickly. I encourage everyone on the forum to read Ray Kurzweil's "The Sigularity is Near" - we're in for a wild ride if he's right.
  3. Greetings Benpercent: While I certainly agree that memory is an important aspect of the learning process, I don't know how much you will gain from attempting to memorize cards in this fashion (unless all you are wanting to remember is cards). I refer you to Dominic O'brien, specifically his book entitled "How to Pass Exams" (ISBN: 1-904292-39-9). Even though the book is written with exams in mind, the tools in the book remain effective outside the "standard" school framework. He has some unique insights on memory and has won the World Memory Championship a number of times. Cheers! Nate
