  1. Don't watch this movie unless you want to throw up!! It's ugly and has NOTHING to do with Ayn Rand.
  2. Thank you everybody for the warm welcome! Hi Adam, You will be surprised to know that after the U.S. India probably has the largest number of Ayn Rand fans though I would not vouch for their understanding of either her philosophy or of her art. Hello Megan, I ran my fashion house in the small city of Bhopal in central India. It was very tough establishing interest in my designs ("too Western") and it was too small a place for such an outfit to run successfully though by the time I closed shop I could boast of a small but very dedicated clients from all over the world!! including the U.S. who had become very enthusiastic and would carry boxes full of fabrics during their annual visit for us to fashion them. Mind you, not the Indian clothes but Western outfits and accessories :-) Though gratifying, the success came too late and had added severe complications to my health problems and I had no choice but to close shop because of medical reasons. However, broadly speaking, whatever I did, it was only because I was unable to figure out how I could make a career in film making when I disliked Hindi movies, the Indian culture, and didn't know enough nor had the health to run for my life out of India!! Nonetheless, it's an extremely satisfying and enjoyable profession and my best wishes to you Megan!! Hi Betsy!! Thank you for introducing me to this list!! Looking forward to seeing action here :-)
  3. Hello everybody, I owned and ran a fashion house for seven years, then worked as an assistant to a private architect for 3 years while I continued my private studies in philosophy and then worked as editor and designer of the feature/magazine section of a daily newspaper for 5 more years. I have recently relocated to Mumbai, India. My first and last love remain movies from when I was 4 to this day and forever. Currently I am engaged full time in medical recovery and film training. I first read "The Fountainhead" when 18 in 1980, immediately followed by "Atlas Shrugged" and various other works by Ms Rand and knew immediately that I had discovered the right philosophy. Looking forward to enjoying the list. All the best to everybody. Hema
  4. Hi, Just saw "Pirates Of The Caribbean". I would highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a most enjoyable evening.
