    Hearbrokenness is the natural state of individuals in transition. The heart does not necessarily exist; emotions are the products of thoughts and your thoughts precede from your values. When your values are static, old, and full of nostalgia, and you begin to shake them off it is only natural that the emotion you should experience is a twisting, excruciating sense of loneliness. As you carry out the bits and pieces of your fractured sense of life from the attic of your mind you will feel broken; wronged; overworked. This is the distress signal of mysticism with no where turn, this is the rally cry of second-handedness versus independence. This teary-eyed desperation is only temporary. The day you can let go of an indecisive past is the day you can embrace a future above the clouds, a solar-powered future where the cold, the hard, the painful, becomes life-giving, joyful, happy.

    My name is Jim. I am sixteen years old, and I accept reality. I live in a town surrounded by sloping farm fields and miles of lonely interstate. People who think the country is unexciting have never been driving on some lost highway, fearless of being lost, windows down, sun shining (or moon glowing). I play the guitar, and really love music. Especially Muse, Coldplay, The Killers. I run the mile in track, and usually the 4x800 relay. I've gotten into fitness seriously here at the end of my sophomore year. I love my life, and it is nice to meet you!
