This is far in advance of the performance, but I thought some of you Elfman aficionados might enjoy the anticipation in the months leading up to it. As a long-time Elfman fan, I will surely be there.

"Danny Elfman has been commissioned by Carnegie Hall to compose an original work for their 2004/2005 season. The work, set to make it's world premiere on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 7:30 PM, will be performed by the American Composers Orchestra, conducted by Steven Sloane."
