Grames
I'm glad to see we evidently read the same book, after all. So am I! Glad tidings all around, for everyone! So lets tie this up. Would it immoral to work for one of the banks who own the Federal Reserve System, such as JP Morgan Chase? Would it be immoral to work for the Fed itself? At a policy level, if you don't fight the system then yes. (Greenspan syndrome.) At a low level, simply no. Was Dagny immoral for working for one of the Moochers? She was in error, so wrong but not immoral. Since we now know about the 'Dagny error' can anyone ever again make this error and avoid being immoral? No, unless they are in same position as Dagny philosophically, never having heard of Objectivism.
Space Patroller
That is, one of the banks who own the Federal Reserve System, such as JP Morgan Chase? No since they also do legitimate banking Also, would it be immoral to work for the Fed itself? Yes, Miss Rand held trhat it's OK to work for government entities that do things that are OK to do but only that the governement should not be doing. She separated these out from things that nobody should be doing. The Fed is one of the latter
