Inspirations, Where Do You Get Them From?

Lately I've noticed that I haven't any sort of inspiration, which is literally the fuel needed to do anything in my opinion. This is bad news especially when I think back on how I was perhaps a little over a year ago, when I was driven, motivated, inspired! But I realized that nowadays, especially in the summer, I do nothing!

Any help or advice?

Provide some context. What is your ultimate purpose in life? What is your plan for making it real?

This hits the nail on the head completely. Inspiration presupposes something to be inspired about. What to be inspired about? Only a rational and therefore unchanging set of values can provide someone with a thing that elicits the emotional response of inspiration.

It seems that many never ask such a question, and accordingly spend their days wandering in a fog comprised mostly of boredom.
