bobsponge
See image attachment. Notice how among the other political books, this one is the most expensive? There are plenty of other books there but the highest price is the one about "People before Profit." Funny, that.
Ranil
Almost as funny as Prince Charles flying (first class I presume) in a commercial airliner to Boston to receive his award for being an environmentalist.

They probably figure that anyone who is dumb enough to pay that much for such a poor book really thinks people are more important than profit Edited January 30, 2007 by Maarten
The Wrath
Socialists never live according to their own principles, so it's not really that surprising. Michael Moore has (or did at one point) a condo in New York worth something like $1.3 million.

bobsponge
And let's not forget, profit is for people. Profit is for people who EARN IT!
Thales
Profit is for people who EARN IT! Quite so. My deeper point is that profit only arises because of people and it arises from a great deal of thought and effort so that those people who work toward it can survive and prosper. People go to university to get an education, and they read and study far beyond university to become wiser and more able in their chosen profession so that they can achieve more and more and survive better. Ones time, effort, survival and inspirations are tied up in the generation of profit. It's very intimately tied up with a person's life in the deepest of terms, and so to say "people before profit" is to either ignore the vital connection between the two, or, more likely in this case, it's a promotion of self-sacrifice, the sure road to hell. The point is, severing a person from his profit is very much anti-people. Edited January 31, 2007 by Thales

LaszloWalrus
Actually, I've heard that when one cuts off Michael Moore's head, two more grow in its place.
Thales
Could we leave Michael Moore with his profit, but just sever his head? I'm sure Moore would lose his head over your comment. In all seriouslessness, his support of the Islamofascist cause makes him a headless supporter. Edit: changed "loose" to "lose".
