  1. Over the many versions of the test I've gotten either inventor or artisan combinations. this test is probably the best out there. Free too.
  2. quote: "A lack of progress is causing you to seek divirsion in meaningless tasks" (I'm in highschool), "Remains emotionally unattached in relationships", etc. Dead on. Maybe it's me. You need to take the quiz objectively, simply picking each color in order of which gives you the most pleasure. And not to try to remember your order for the second part. Your changes/lack of give the test more information. Why not try it?
  3. While using Stumbleupon.com I found this quiz that analyzes you by you clicking blocks of colors according on which make you feel the best. AMAZINGLY accurate, and fun. Click here
  4. ]What guy? [ By the way this was in 2003 so there is good chance the movement was shot down (pun?). But isn't this better? It isn't the men of the mind desering the rejecting masses, it's a large group of people all realizing the good of individualism and fighting the Marxist Chavez. It was started by the high bussinesmen though. The origional artical wasn't written by capitalism magazine, but this artical (a follow up) was: Atlas Shrugs in Venezuela This explains with more detail how much like Atlas Shrugged it really is.
  5. Almost everyone read this a couple years ago, Is John Galt Venezuelan? ,but what has happened since then? Thanks in advance.
  6. Dear moderators, Would it be impossible to pass a test in order to be allowed to try to be funny?
  7. I apologize for being murky, but what I was calling pointless was such a long discussion, we could all answer this in one post: state "before moving an inch you move .5inch etc. etc.," then state about grainy universe; but we CAN move!, so there is something here (teleportation on quantum scale?). This either goes to a different subject such as what could this teleportation be, or a refuting of grainy universe. Aight?
  8. Since I've been an objectivist, I've had to get a digital watch, why? I'm not a second hander. (I can't remember whether I made this up or I got it from somewhere else)
  9. This whole thread is unecesary! I explained it to my friend and quote "WHAT IS THE POINT?" I deem discussions like this to mental workouts, but no, there is no piont other than our amusement.
  10. yeah... I realized I was god when i was praying and realized I was talking to myself.
  11. EXACT measurments doen't exist since atoms are always in motion. Talk to me about the smallest possible grains of matter at absolute zero and I will concede. Of course, unit length my foot, will always =my foot, not that the measument wouldn't change in quantum size. (did I use quantum correctly?)
  12. When speaking of measurments, 1" doesn't exist. it might be 1.000....1, the glass will never be exatly half. For length of something, atoms move/vibrate. We can only make estimates, I'm cool with that. If the smallest possible unit of space exists, we can say that it is double half of it.
  13. I found this and thought you all should see it. A 9/11 suspect is on trial for his life because he didn't do anthing to stop it.
  14. The answer is so obvious, Why live/ struggle too? Simply: BECAUSE I CAN HAVE FUN WHILE LIVING. By fun I also mean what I want.
  15. I've never thought of it, but cinder block furnishings? That sounds like a great idea, you don't think that a smart man with some tools could make something really sexy out of cinder blocks? I've seen concrete furniture (with thin coushions) and loved it. cinder blocks seem to be the next extension. hmmm.

You see, the gains give me, and are a, pleasure, all what you said I took as not needed to be spoken. I apologize for my macabre misnomer. aight? (a good objectivist goes to a clean and reputible tattoo parlor)

If it gives you pleasure (gain) and are willing to accept the consequences that might exclude you from certain things, then how is it immoral?
  18. John Galt doesn't go around saying he is john galt, He lives. Maybe John Galt never heard about Ayn Rand, and doesn't realize.
  19. I remember reading a book when i was about 8-10 years old where an elementary school kid finds a book that promises perfection in 10 days, provided you do not skip or look ahead. He follows the instructions where he does things that end up bettering him as a person. fantisising about home runs and A+'s, the last day, the book tells him to sit down and sip wheat tea for all of his free time. Just thinking not playing or anything. The book then tells him something pretty much objectivist (I'm surprised I remember this much.) and that "perfection" is relative.
  20. You should too point out the super crazy storage and ease of use etc. (unlimited storage!)
  21. Are you limiting yourself to anglo names? How about Mugen?
  22. Rather than big name stars, why not theatre actors? There are probably many objectivist actors and of good skill.
  23. Dance puppets! Dance! (kidding) So based on the need for proof etc., i give you this proposal: Smith DID put monoxide into the air (he made an omelette on his stove); so did Gonzalez by way of his coal power plant. They both DID pollute. They did do a harm against whomever breathes the atmosphere. So would we need some way to track their output, then according to your output (for you can decrease it by filtration) you are given a tax that goes into everyones tax returns evenly (for everyone breathes) for the damage done. but if you filter or otherwise stop from polluting the air you do not need to pay the tax and you will be encouraged to stop your pollution.
