  1. Hi KendallJ, could you recommend a good, trailer-able sailboat that can be sailed by one or two adults? I already windsurf, but you really need at least 20-25 knots of solid wind to have fun, so I'm looking for something to sail on the lighter wind days. I think the pleasure of sailing/windurfing/surfing comes from the satisfaction of harnessing the wind and waves to go fast. To explain it to a non-sailor, I'd say its like flying on the water.

  3. Using the website's data, if you compare costs with of some of ARI's main "competitors", ARI compares favorably. In terms of leadership salaries, Yaron Brook is a bargain (especially considering the work he does): Heritage Foundation: Edwin J. Feulner Jr. -- $601,452 AEI: Christopher DeMuth -- $583,750 Cato: Edward H. Crane -- $396,000 Woodrow Wilson Center: Lee Hamilton -- $310,000 Brookings Institue: Strobe Talbott -- $309,060 ARI: Yaron Brook -- $245,000 In terms of administrative cost percentage, ARI is also pretty good compared to the group: Brookings -- 18.5% Woodrow Wilson -- 17.8% Cato -- 17.1% ARI -- 15.2% AEI -- 14.3% Heritage -- 3.0%
  4. This FHF lecture is part of an OCON conference that includes a talk at Tufts (also free), plus five other lectures and a panel discussion. The lineup is impressive: Yaron Brook, John Lewis, Daniel Pipes, Flemming Rose (of the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten), Robert Spencer and Peter Schwartz.
