  1. I've noticed a trend over the years has shifted from them asking for "spare change?" to "got dollar or two to spare?" This shows their lack of economic understand at it's most basic level. It also, I believe, shows that the welfare state has planted an ugly axiom of disserving without earning. A rather agro man used sit a a piece of cardboard in front of shop. Asking for change, my friend put 5 cent down in a hasty manner, not paying to much attention to him which caused the man to scream "what am I meant to do with 5 cents?" and throw back at us. My friend picked it up and screamed back at him. It was all rather amusing in a tragic way.
  2. I've only just started reading the working of Professor Robert M. Carter but he seems to be on the spot. I've yet to see him mention acidity in the oceans but there is a lot to read though. His main site: http://members.iinet.net.au/~glrmc/ click on the "public education" hyper link for various works. I recommend this report: http://members.iinet.net.au/~glrmc/2007%20...20corrected.pdf
  3. Hi there! As you can see to your left my name is Clinton here all the way from Melbourne. I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm an objectivist (due to my hedonistic habbits) but I love Rand's non-fiction work. In my spare time I associate myself with Australia's only registered libertarian party www.ldp.org.au (we got more votes than Socialist Alliance, that fact always makes me happy) and if you've interested most of our thoughts end up on this blog http://alsblog.wordpress.com/ I might ad to this more latter, got to go now.
  4. I'm rather surprised to find Bad Religion fans on this forum. The music and anti-authoritarian lyrics are pretty good but they can get a bit socialistic at times. One of my all time favourite band would be Ween recently produced this "i can build an aeroplane that travels over land i can take your DNA and replicate a man i can do so many things with my OWN BARE HANDS" It was awesome live. Everyone throwing their palms open in the air in a celebration of self reliance.
  5. I'd be more inclined to say "Yeah, but that's the way I like it! Uh-ah uh-ah!" Then it gets to the stage where she stops asking because she knows what you'll say. With the mother on the death bed case, I'd probably go we the "No but I am looking" line. But what if you were gay and had yet to bring this up with her? Personally if I was gay I would have brought it up before she got to this state. My great grandmother lived to 99 and in the last 4 years her mind deteriorated to the point were she couldn't really comprehend anything, it was rather sad. In this scenario the family lied in order to keep in the best mental state possible.

I always liked Pork Soda and The Brown Album best. Their film clips were also gold.
