Is Alan Greenspan A Gail Wynand?

Early in his career, Alan Greenspan was active with Ayn Rand in political philosophy (some of his essays appear in Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal). Now, he is the chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, the socialistic establishment that single-handedly caused the Great Depression. Is Alan Greenspan the Gail Wynand of today?

This question is very difficult to answer without any context, and I don't see what the purpose of voting it is, as though truth is something to be ascertained via public poll. There is already a thread here debating this topic at length.

Then why is there even a poll option? What context is needed? It's a simple question of the status of Alan Greenspan. The poll results will not change my opinion; I just wanted to see what the majority of Objectivists thought.

Yes, this is a very Kantian way to look at Truth. Something is only True if everyone agrees with the statement. If someone disagrees with the statemnt then that "truth" is in fact not true by Kantian standards.

There is a poll option to gather statistical information that actually has validity, such as how many people like a specific movie, idea, offering, etc. The number of people that think Alan Greenspan is or is not an Objectivist has no bearing on whether or not Alan Greenspan IS an Objectivist. (Or a Gail Wynand equivalent.)

Well, since I doubt anyone on this forum knows Alan Greenspan personally, it might be nice if you provided some instances of his personal statements and why you may or may not think he is or isn't a Gail Wynand equivalent.

I don't think that the majority of forum members are actually Objectivists, btw. A LOT of them are Students of Objectivism and many many more are interested in some aspects of Objectivism, however I think the percentage of actual Objectivists is probably something like 3 or 4%. Probably close to 10-15% of regular posters.

That might make a good question for a poll.
