Gazz
Hello everyone, I am happy to have found this great forum, I look forward to learning and discussing many things. I just recently discovered "objectivism", but have been a "realist" for a long time, as well as an atheist.... Brief background: I teach Martial arts- www.flowingcombat.com, www.insidersasia.com, and I am an active duty Air Force member. Hobbies include of course martial arts, and videography (just getting into that business). I enjoy reading and learning in my *spare* time, and am constantly in awe of the intellectual bankruptcy of those around me of *faith* and not reason. Regards, Gary AKA *Gazz* PS: Any advice on the MUST READ threads or website links would be appreciated
Hakarmaskannar
Welcome to the forums I also teach martial arts, though I teach Kempo Ju-Jitsu, and am recently new to these forums. I'll leave it to those more familiar to link to the best bits here, but for some interesting reading I'd recommend ARI Op-Eds to pass the time. FeatherFall
Welcome to the forum. I check Capmag.com and Coxandforkum.com every day. I recently moved from Green Bay where I studied Lima-Lama. Can either of you recommend a place to train in the Phoenix, AZ area?
softwareNerd
Welcome to the forum. PS: Any advice on the MUST READ threads or website links would be appreciated.Hmm! Good idea. We should have a "Best of OO.net" list for newbies. As a poor stand-in, I'd suggest going to a sub-forum of interest and using the selections at the bottom of the page to "Order by: Replies" / "Z-A". At the top of the resulting list, you will see threads on topics that are controversial or difficult to understrand or simply interesting. I hope you enjoy the forum.
