Godless Capitalist Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 I'm running Safari (1.3.1 (v312.3.3)) on a Mac Mini (OS 10.3.9) Fairly regularly the site will hang up loading a page, then the whole browser crashes. It's not a connection speed issue because I have cable modem. Any advice? Quote
DavidV Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 How about updating Safari? http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/safariupdate132.html Quote
Godless Capitalist Posted March 15, 2006 Author Report Posted March 15, 2006 Thanks, David! I'll see if that helps. Quote
Godless Capitalist Posted March 15, 2006 Author Report Posted March 15, 2006 I did the update and restarted. Still having the problem, though, usually when I try to replay to someone else's post. Quote
DavidV Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Or Safari 2.0? Or Camino: http://www.caminobrowser.org/ Quote
justkariann Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I've had the same problem as well....(Using a Mac...Safari and Explorer) I'll look into the other recommendations here too. How about upgrading to a PC? Ugh, the blasphemy of upgrading to PC! But we might be forced to convert eventually anyhow: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,185221,00.html Quote
dondigitalia Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 I just want to say that I use a mac (and a PC; PCs are not an upgrade, I assure you), and it works fine for me, in both Safari and IE. Quote
