DavidV
I would like to prominently feature an “Introduction to Objectivism” essay for visitors who are new to Objectivism. There are a number of such essays, in particular the essays on ARI.org, but I would like a cohesive essay specifically designed to pique a student’s interest in Objectivism. If you have written, are aware of, or would like to write such an essay, please post it on the Wiki or contact me. If I am not satisfied with the submissions, I will organize an effort on the Wiki to create one. http://wiki.objectivismonline.net/What_is_Objectivism

HaloNoble6
The purpose of the parable is to teach us the evil result of the unwise neglect of one's opportunities. Lazarus was rewarded, not because he was poor, but for his virtuous acceptance of poverty; the rich man was punished, not because he was rich, but for vicious neglect of the opportunities given him by his wealth. Thus thy thread is resurrected so that thee might teach us virtue.
