  1. Yeah, I'm in the Nepean area, very close to the experimental farm. I've lived here for a couple years now, and am really enjoying living in the city.
  2. Man, that sounds like a lot of fun! If it's not too expensive, I'd love to join in!
  3. 1) Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 2) Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan! 3) Doom II 4) Sonic Rush 5) Sonic The Hedgehog 2 6) World of Warcraft 7) Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind 8) Sonic Riders 9) Prince of Persia Trilogy 10)Phantasy Star Universe (Mainly for the online mode) One game that I am really looking forward is Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii. I also want Twilight Princess, but for me, Sonic comes before Zelda
  4. Darken Rahl didn't put the tracer cloud on Richard, he put it on the tooth that George gave him. The tooth was from a beast that Darken Rahl had conjured and then sent to watch over the Book of Counted Shadows. Once Darken found out that the book was stolen, and that a tooth was missing from the creature, he traced his magic, which lead him to George. When he found out that George didn't have either item, that they were given to his son, he placed the tracer cloud on the tooth to keep an eye on where Richard was.
  5. I was looking at Gentoo not too long ago, and I think I just might get that one. One reason is that I really like to code stuff, so I also need good tools that don't crash. And the other reason is that it'd be faster for me to download (As I'm only on crappy dial-up ) I was thinking the same thing at first, and if I get that book that skap35 mentioned earlier, it might not be such a bad idea... I'll consider both options while I wait for either the Gentoo download to finish (Which will take about a week >_<), of Fedora Core to arrive by mail, whichever I decide
  6. World of Warcraft Server: Azjol-Nerub Horde side Nick: Taurenatorr
  7. Okay, I'll definitely give it a shot then. FireFox is my preferred browser, but I do use IE sometimes as well Alrighty, I pick it up. Thanks for the tip Thanks for the advice. I follow most of those already. I always have the Windows firewall up, and I almost never agree to those install pop-ups. And like I said earlier in the post, I mostly use FF. I don't browse porn sites, but I do download free software sometimes, but I always try make sure that spyware is not hidden in it. But I still get infected... But as for the McAfee, I won't be getting that now, as I'm short on money at the moment. Thanks for all your input everyone
  8. The Dual-booting sounds like a good idea, but I only have a 40 GB hard drive, with 512 MB of RAM, so I don't know if it will slow down my computer. Fedora Core does seem to be the best one, so I'll try it and find out. One of my main problem with Windows is that it's really easy to hack... I keep getting Viruses, Trojans, Spyware, Adware, and all that wonderful stuff. Windows always seems to make their OS easier to use, but in return they worry less about security. I use Norton Anti-Virus, and Ad-Aware as protectors, but I still get infections. They're not all that hard to remove, but it's still annoying. And from what I've read from various sites, Linux Distros seem to be much more secure. Another problem I have is that in the last two months, I've have to reformat three times, because Windows didn't want to boot anymore. I have no idea why either... It’s pretty frustrating
  9. Lately I have been thinking about switching to a Linux Distro. Windows has been causing me no end of trouble lately, and I'm getting really tired of it. Also, I want to learn something new. I was wondering if anybody here has any experiance with Linux, and which Distro is the best one for every day use (Browsing the web, email, etc), and which is the most secure. Thanks in advance.
  10. This is me, taken not even two hours ago, at my Nana's Christmas Eve Party
  11. I have to agree that FotF is by far the best of the series, for all the reasons already explained. Although, I have yet to read Chainfire, but I hope to get that soon. And I can't wait for the release of Phatom
  12. I named my dog Gratch, from The Sword of Truth series

  14. My favourite games right now are: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Any Sonic game Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst Phantasy Star Online Episode 3: C.A.R.D. Revolution DooM 2 Dune 2000 Currently, I am waiting for the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion... But I'll probably have to buy a Xbox 360, because as of right now I don't think my computer could handle it.
  15. May contain spoilers Near the beginning of the series, I would agree with you. But I think near the end he comes to realize some of his mistakes. He doesn't accept as much guilt as he did before. He also makes the right decision when he kills Legato before Legato can kill Meryl and Milly. And personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with being a little bizarre
  16. Actually, the dragon was always Scarlet. Near the end of WFR, Richard askes Scalet if she had ever flown Darken into Westland before the boundry went down, and she replied that she had, once to Micheal's house, and once to George's place. Darken needed Carl to get to the underworld, he did not use him to fly overland
  17. I just finished downloading those three songs by SelfMadeSoul, and this band is now one of my favorites. "The New Ethic" is the best of the three, I think. I'm going to be buying the CD from the site very soon
  18. Hello. I am 17 years old, and I'm pretty new to Objectivism, but I love what I've learned of it. I was introduced to Objectivism through Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth Series. I've read Anthem, and I am currently reading Atlas Shrugged. I'm only on page 194, but it's a really great book so far. I hope I'll be able to post here often. Anyway, it's great to be here, and I hope I'll learn alot. Thanks!
