haha yeah moebius, that's the one. It's been a long time, but I remember it being funny. Typical 80s music and sass.

Yes, it is a VERY 80's movie. And the popcorn is at the end. Val Kilmer is probably my favorite character in that movie, either him or the hyperkinetic girl that doesn't sleep.

I love his roommate - the 30 something year old college student that was sidetracked from his studies because he was trying to win the grand prize in that contest - was it a corn chip contest or something?

One thing I remember seeing in the promos for the movie but I don't remember seeing in the movie itself was Val Kilmer sitting on a lawn chair. He had a bunch of balloons with helium tied to the chair and was floating around. Maybe I am confused with another movie.

When they turned the dorm hallway into a luge track hahah that was great. And yes, turning that guy's house into the largest Jiffy Popper was priceless.

Anyone seen this movie? It was one of my fraternity's "house movies" because we're all a bunch of uber-geeks. I think there's a lot of great stuff in Real Genius. Thoughts, comments, etc.?

We watched it a bunch when I was in college. It's the only movie I can think of that can even pretend to compete with Ghostbusters for amusing quotable dialog.

"Kent? It's Jesus, Kent."

"If you think that by threatening me you can make me your slave, well... that's where you're right. But, and I'm only saying this because I care, there are a number of brands of decaffeinated coffee on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing."

"Now if only we can keep it from exploding."

"I was remembering the immortal words of Socrates, who said 'I drank what?'"

"We must get our revenge on Kent. It's a moral imperative."
