Jake_Ellison
I'm curious on your opinion on a film I saw recently, that I found interesting. Here's a link to the rottentomatoes.com page: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/10008909-e...d_of_the_world/ I think you might have to watch it where you can, I doubt it's widely available. It's about Antarctica, and the researchers and workers who live on a settlement there. A lot of interesting characters, but more importantly they are doing interesting things. (research on one of the two volcanoes where the core of the earth is permanently in contact with the surface; crazy, suicidal penguins; global warming, history of climate change; species I've never seen before under the ice-diving-great footage!!; using huge weather balloons to find the famous "god particles"-though I sensed he's actually ridiculing this professor who shamelessly claims he's close to finding it, but never mentions the fact that it has nothing to do with God, and its whole existence is mostly a theory; etc. ) Edited October 25, 2008 by Jake_Ellison
