My question is what order should i read his works? Is there a logical "starting point" or should i just read them in any order i see fit? I found "Theory of Money and Credit" extremely rewarding, but a significant portion of it I couldn't follow because I haven't studied much econ. Yes, start with the essays here: http://mises.org/misesuniv.asp Don't start with his longer treatises unless you are (or training to be) a professional economist. Excellent! I dont necessarily plan on being an economist, but id like to have a solid enough foundation to demolish the layman in a debate and have a good enough grasp of the subject to hold my own in a conversation with an actual economist.
