softwareNerd
"IP.Board" and "English (USA)" are the only ones there. The second... "English (USA)" is currently the only option. The first ought to drop down to show two others: "Clean Cut" and "Mobile".

The first ought to drop down to show two others: "Clean Cut" and "Mobile". Ah, it was confusing as I thought this was a drop down for viewing style, not skin, because I do not have a "Clean Cut" option in that menu. Thomas M. Miovas Jr.
I could use some assistance finding/making a new default theme for the site. The old ones are not compatible. I cannot help you with the technical end, but I see that we now finally have email replies with the topic header as the subject headerin the email, so thanksfor that. The new look and feel will take a little while to get used to, but I think it is managable.
Marc K.
I think it is preferable to open a new window when clicking on a link in a post. That is the way it was with the old version. It appears to not be the case now.
0096 2251 2110 8105
I think there's a problem with the 'search' function. When you search for a topic, let's say, with the word "concept" in it, then it will return this message: "Your search for the term concept returned 33 results," but only one of the 33 is displayed, and the rest can't be seen or accessed. I tried the same thing and I see the results. Can you post a screenshot?

DavidV
Here There's nothing in the second page either. I see over 200 results. Is it possible that there are multiple results in that thread? Edited June 26, 2010 by GreedyCapitalist

DavidV
I'm not sure if you missed my request or if it is hard to do? I don't want to modify the forum theme too much at this time. It is time consuming to change it and support the change through future updates. Also, this forum software is used by millions of people, and I generally trust the developers to make choices which a majority of users would prefer. If you can show that the consensus of other users here is for a change, I will reconsider.
brian0918
I just always middle-clicked on links, so I never noticed how it worked before.

I don't have any issue with the forum, my only grievances were towards the chatroom not identifying members properly however that was fixed yesterday. I don't think all of the people that want the change necessarily realize or appreciate the effort required to make some of these changes no less keep them there. I don't mean to put words in their mouths however.
Steve D'Ippolito
I have a list of "unread notifications" and there is no obvious way to read the damned notifications so the list will go away. I've read the personal conversations that the notifications pertain to... but there's no way to get rid of the "unread notifications" that I can see. Steve D'Ippolito
Nevermind.... all the way in the upper right is a dropdown menu with no label whatsoever, just a number.... and that lets you get to the notifications. It seems a bit hard to figure out though... and I find it absurd that the forum is designed to keep a database full of messages *about* messages! Then it nags you about them.and there's no direct path from the nag to the place you can do something to stop the nag, and no obvious location either. (An unlabeled dropdown is not obvious.)
